The Oxford Brain Health Clinical Trials Unit welcomes requests to collaborate on studies
OBHCTU welcomes requests to collaborate on studies that are aligned with our interests.
Why work with OBHCTU?
The Oxford Brain Health Clinical Trials Unit (OBHCTU) is a specialist unit with a remit to design, conduct, analyse and publish clinical trials and other well-designed research studies. As the only mental health specific clinical trials unit in the UK, our mission is to conduct high quality and patient-centric research, that ultimately facilitates the improvement of clinical services. OBHCTU can provide expert support and advice around governance, regulatory, statistical and methodology issues, as well as protocol design, study delivery and coordination matters.
Discuss your study with us
If you have an idea you would like to develop, please complete the project proposal form as fully as possible and send with your enquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any information sent will be treated as strictly confidential.
Investigators are advised to approach OBHCTU as early as possible, ideally at least three months before a grant application submission.
Study Adoption Process
OBHCTU maintains a study adoption process to ensure only proposals that are assessed to be feasible and of sufficient scientific merit are adopted onto the OBHCTU portfolio and taken forward to funding bodies. Requests for study adoption should be made at least 3 months before a funding deadline if funding has not already been secured. A summary of the study adoption process is provided below.
